Nothing splendid has ever been achieved except by those who dared to believe that something inside them was superior to circumstances….

Last Friday the Stunners took to the field again with their magnificent warriors for a match against Stars Eleven. The Stunners captain Adnan Ahmad won the toss and decided to bat. Abdul Haseeb and Saqlain Latif Satti started the innings. The bowling from Stars Eleven [SE] was outstanding and they didn't allow either batsmen room to play shots and score freely.

Saqlain was soon removed by Abid in the 7th over for only 18 runs, and in came "boom boom boy" Tallat. He looked to play his natural shorts but the disciplined Stars eleven bowling ensured he was unable to score freely. The bowling from SE was undoubtedly marvelous, but soon enough, after an over, Tallat got into his groove and the crowd cheered for some "boom boom" action. Tallat obliged with two huge hits over the boundary and soon Abdul Haseeb got into the action as well. Unfortunately Abdul Haseeb well played innings ended when he was caught on 32. Noman came in and Tallat's hitting seemed infectious as he hit two sixes immediately after taking strike.

Tallat continued playing well and made 38 quick fire runs but was caught from the boundary line by an outstanding catch by Mr. Abid. This prompted a mini collapse as three quick wickets fell on the trot and the run rate took a dive. In the last 6 overs, the Stunners could only make 45 runs which included a beautiful six from Suleman Ashraf in the last over.

Chasing 159 runs looked an easy task for SE but The Stunners sensed they could put up a fight. When they took to the field, the confidence, the body language, the determination, the Stunners were not going down easy. Suleman and Abdul Haseeb bowled extremely well in the first spell and the SE batsmen were unable to score runs freely. In the second spell Kashif and Tallat also bowled well and succeeded to maintain the pressure created by Suleman and Abdul Haseeb. As wicketkeeper, Abdul Haseeb caught some outstanding catches that had to be seen to be believed. By the end of the 13th over of the SE innings, they were all out for only 97 runs.

The man of the match award went to none other than Abdul Haseeb for his outstanding performance in all departments of the game. Congrats again to the marvelous Abdul Haseeb.

Note: This is the second time Abdul Haseeb has bagged the man of the match award in the last four matches.

Summary: The Stunners 159 for 8 (Tallat Saleem 38, Abdul Haseeb 32, Saqlain Latif 18) beat Stars Eleven 97 for all by 62 runs.
